Next Best Home helps families in Santa Barbara, Goleta, Carpinteria, and Montecito understand what care actually costs before they commit to anything. We publish monthly assisted living vacancy and rate listings, free cost calculators built on local numbers, plain-language guides to paying for care, and a network of senior care, real estate, and financing advisors who work on the same plan instead of in separate silos. Our team and our cost data are local to the Central Coast of California, and we can connect you to real estate advisors, care advisors, resources, and financing solutions anywhere in the United States.
Who it is for
Most of the people we help are Gen X adult children caught between their own kids and an aging parent, often making the first hard decisions in a hurry. Some are couples deciding whether to keep or sell the family home. Some are adult children out of state who need a straight answer on cost. Whatever the starting point, the goal is the same: fewer surprises and a clear next step.
Who builds it
Next Best Home was founded by Jessica Solomon after more than 20 years inside the senior care ecosystem. She built the advisor network deliberately, one relationship at a time, gathering professionals across senior living, care consulting, real estate, mortgage strategy, and financial planning who share the same values: transparency, ethics, communication, and family first decisions.
How we are paid
Advisors in this network are here because families trust them, not because they paid to be listed. We never sell your information, and we never charge families to use the calculators, vacancy data, or guides on this site. If a conversation turns into a working relationship with an advisor, they will tell you exactly how they are compensated before you start.
