One important observation we see is the lack of oversight in the online lead generation industry, particularly among local placement agencies and advisors. Unlike the real estate sector, there are no standardized regulations for these entities, despite their involvement in Assisted Living referrals. In real estate, as a licensed broker, I’m obliged to disclose such information, but this transparency is often missing in the placement advisory industry. This discrepancy raises ethical concerns, as advisors may be influenced by financial incentives, rather than the best interests of those they serve.
