Bella Groves is a one-of-a-kind organization that specializes in dementia education and services to support families in central Texas who are affected by dementia. We offer three levels of service to families including an online Learning Center, an at-home Dementia Care Management service, and a 32-room dementia care residence.
With a 1-to-4 staffing ratio of consistently trained care professionals, we are focused on something more important than care – we are focused on JOY. While good care is a baseline expectation of our (or any) care facility, our higher aspiration is to reach seniors living with dementia through our own growth in understanding, skill, and approach to support. What’s more is that we teach families and the greater community of San Antonio to do the same.
We specialize in the care of people affected by Alzheimer’s Disease, vascular dementia, mixed dementias, dementia with Lewy-Bodies, Parkinson’s Disease, and Frontotemporal dementia. We have the capability of supporting people living with other forms of dementia as well on a case-by-case basis.
The community itself is made up of two, 16-room houses. This smaller and intimate setting is just the right fit between a personal care home and a large assisted living facility.
With an open kitchen, a beautifully furnished interior, and the calm ambiance of the Hill Country, our residents, their families, and our staff all report the unmistakable feeling of “home” here.
