Michael Vidal brings over a decade of extensive experience in the financial and banking industry to his role. Prior to joining Cornerstone Insurance Services LLC as a Partner and founding Cornerstone Wealth Management Services, Michael held a pivotal position overseeing community banking operations at Wells Fargo Bank across various locations, including Santa Barbara, Ojai, Lompoc, and Buellton. As a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™, Michael has achieved Series 7 and Series 66 licensing, in addition to Life & Health licensing. He also shares his expertise by teaching Risk Management and Retirement Planning courses through UCSB’s Business Management & Law Extensions program. Committed to community service, Michael actively participates in organizations such as Rotary, YStrive, and serves as a Board Member for the Legal Aid Foundation of Santa Barbara County. He holds a double degree in Business Economics and Sociology from the University of California, Santa Barbara.

Originally from Fresno, California, Michael found his permanent home in Santa Barbara after attending UCSB. He is deeply engaged in the community, supporting multiple non-profit organizations. Outside of his professional endeavors, Michael enjoys practicing yoga, exploring hiking trails, and embracing the beauty of Santa Barbara’s outdoors alongside his rescue dog, Hank.
